Warsaw has become the centre of European equestrianism. On 5 September, the fifth edition of Warsaw Jumping CSIO4* began at the Służewiec Equestrian Track – a four-day show jumping competition. Its main event was the final of the Longines EEF Series European Nations Cup. Warsaw Jumping CSIO4* is a one-of-a-kind equestrian spectacle and one of the most important sporting events in Poland. Organised in the unique surroundings of the architecture of the Warsaw Służewiec Track, it attracts the attention of both the European equestrian community and equestrian enthusiasts every year.
Just like on other major racetracks in the world – in France at Longchamp and Chantilly, or in the Italian San Siro in Milan – equestrian competitions are also held at the Służewiec Track. This year, the Nations Cup final will once again be held in Poland. 119 talented riders from 18 countries will appear at the start of this year's edition, which will take place on 5-8 September. The Warsaw show jumping arena will feature Olympians from Paris, Polish champions and other world-class competitors. The European Equestrian Federation highly appreciates the level of organization of the Nations Cup final and the entire Warsaw Jumping competitions by Totalizator Sportowy.
The Italian team won the Longines EEF Series European Nations Cup final for the third time in Warsaw Jumping history. Italy was led to victory by the team consisting of Piergorgio Bucci on Hantano, Emanuele Camilli on Chacco’s Girlstar, Alberto Zorzi on Cortez van’t Klein Asdonk Z and Giulia Martinengo Marquet on Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe.
